Exotic Mallets
Each of these exotic mallets are one of a kind pieces. My goal is to make outrageously beautiful mallets that not only sound great, but are as stunning as the instruments we play them on. Exotic hardwood is sustainably sourced from all over the world. Only the most curliest, quiltiest, burliest, figured wood was chosen. Many of the pieces are then stabilized using resin to impregnate the wood with rich color.
The blanks are then sent to the wood shop to be turned into handles. I have experimented with countless shapes and designs to discover the most ergonomic, balanced, comfortable gong mallet handle.
These mallets range from small and lightweight to large and hefty.
